Lyall writes to Mr. [William] Canton, 8 January 1892, about quotations for headings in her manuscripts for the magazine Good words and, 29 August 1892, thanking him for the proofs, requesting proofs for future issues of the magazine, and a P.S. with suggested titles for a story she first called The Hero; to Mr. [Donald] Macleod, 20 February 1893, asking if he could insert the enclosed paper on Whittier [not extant] by Mr. Bradfield in Good words.
